Granite State Progress Still Suffering From Foot in Mouth Disease
Well, what do you know. Must be the full moon, because Granite State Progress is up to its old tricks again, telling lies and talking trash.
You all remember that Soros-funded, far left group, Granite State Progress?
They once made up a story claiming NHTPC sponsored a “white pride” rally at the statehouse. They sent out a scolding press release which contained no facts and no proof of their accusations. After being shown to be wrong, they refused to retract their statement, which had further claimed that this rally was a continuance of a “pattern of disrespectful, racist behavior” until finally a retraction was made in the Concord Monitor, as noted here by then bloggers at Now Hampshire. Fact is, since we’ve been in the streets from late 2007 to date, our rallies have been violence free without so much as a parking ticket, let alone any disrespectful behavior.
Apparently the availability of Obamacare has not helped cure GSP’s “foot in mouth” disease. As evidence I present to you this lovely write-up that appeared on their website about why charity for friends is such a terrible thing, especially when it’s done to help those nasty conservatives.
Do these folks even THINK before they blow this idiocy out their pie holes?
The money being collected for Jerry is hardly enough to make a dent in the medical expenses incurred by such a serious injury. Instead this money is going to help Jerry and his wife Susan (a State Rep who volunteers at the statehouse) cover daily expenses in light of the fact Jerry will be missing a LOT of work.
The problem is, Granite State Progress overlooked an important fact in their article: the person mentioned as the organizer of Jerry’s fund (Jane Aitken) not only helped raise money for Jerry DeLemus and a few other people (none of whom have ever bashed Obamacare in the process) but several other activists, including Democrats, EVEN ONE OF THEIR OWN. Yes you read that correctly! Many members of NHTPC and Granite Grok blog actively raised money for Susan Bruce (aka “Susan the Bruce”) after she sustained serious injuries in a car accident. Apparently she was in financial need DESPITE the existence of Obamacare.
So, while these knee jerking hyprocrites would deny this kind of personal charity to someone just because he or she MIGHT have spoken out against Obamacare in some other dimension, (we’ve never witnessed it) they forgot to mention who ELSE has been helped.
Interesting to note that while Bruce’s church thanked us in an email, Bruce herself never acknowledged all the donations that she received because of those generous conservatives at NHTPC and Granite Grok.
As for Obamacare, we will say this: It is not the savior it has been made out to be, as it is a program that further punishes people who can’t afford to sign up. Not only are those folks STILL WITHOUT INSURANCE, they are left owing the government a hefty FINE!
