Government Scandals

There seems no end to the list of government scandals which started in the first 100 days of the new administration. What with the media becoming the 4th branch of government, who is left to investigate?

– Almost all cabinet members are found to be tax cheats and most treasury official picks worked for private banking cartel or wall street firms who supported the presidency
– Mortgage industry kickbacks for Senator Dodd and strange bedfellows for Barney Frank spell trouble for those who were forced to give subprime loans such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
– Blagojevich appointees are known to be asked to engage in “pay to play” including for Obama’s Senate seat
– ACORN accused of voter registration fraud
– ACORN given role in 2010 census which is moved under direct oversight of Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, which results in Judd Gregg rethinking his HHS appointment
– Census takers appear on your doorstep with GPS machines to “mark” each address
– Black panthers who intimidated voters at polls with billy clubs are not prosecuted
– Judiciary appointee Sonya Sotomayor is found to be a member of a racist group LaRaza and made racist statements about how she would rule better than a ‘white man’
– Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi claims CIA lied to her about interrogation techniques that would be used, but cannot prove it, then leaves to abroad to talk about climate change
– Americorps spending scandal discovered
Illegal firing of Inspector General Gerald Walpin who investigated Americorps and uncovered scandal, now suing
– White House creates its own ‘news agency’ and restricts who can ask questions at press conferences, then allows monopoly of media to become ‘4th branch’ of government
– Illegal and unconstitutional creation of inexperienced ‘czars’ to oversee seized businesses
– $55 billion of our tax dollars, spent for ‘stimulus’, went down a black hole
– Conyers, Durbin, and Jefferson: Ready to be indicted or already on trial.. where is the media?
– North Korea claims repeal of peace treaty of 1953 and the Taliban warns it could come across the border and place anthrax on the White House lawn
– Homeland Security issues a report that says cops should watch for “right wing extremism” which “may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration
– Air Force One and an accompanying fighter jet fly too low near Ground Zero as part of a photo shoot buzzing across Lower Manhattan, prompting evacuations, 911 calls and frightful memories of the 911 attack
– Teleprompter malfunctions and clueless Obama proves he can’t go on with speech without it
– Two Japanese nationals caught smuggling $134.5 billion U.S. bearer American bonds, said to be counterfeit – the exact amount remaining in the U.S. Troubled Asset Relief Program [TARP] as announced by the Department of the Treasury on March 30, 2009. Somehow this is thought to be related to the fact that on Thursday September 18, 2008 (just after McCain announced that the economy had been good under Bush) at about 11 o’clock in the morning, the Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous drawdown of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion, in a matter of an hour or two.

Any of these scandals can be looked up on the internet, where you will find many good articles on same.
