Control of the Internet

According to a recent article in the Nashua Telegraph, a federal grand jury in Las Vegas handed down a subpoena last week demanding the identities of more than 100 anonymous readers who had left comments on the Las Vegas Review-Journal Web site. This incident has had a dramatic, chilling effect on free speech.

There is fear that the government is preparing to curtail the internet whether it be with taxation and/or limitation of the ability for just anyone to set up his or her own website. Content will be controlled as it is on cable TV… and all content posted will be the property of your ISP.
