Americans Don’t Really Care About Foreign Terrorism

Or so you might think by the way they vote.

Senator Rand Paul keeps getting blocked by the other US Senators on bills he’s filed to keep us safe.

His plan to defeat ISIS in 2013? Stymied by the rest of the Senate. Now Gov. Kasich is spewing the lie that he’s the “only one that has a plan to defeat ISIS”. Do they think we’re stupid?

The important thing for NH voters to know is that our very own Senators Ayotte and Shaheen, voted NAY. Senator Rubio, running for POTUS, also voted NAY.

Senator Rand Paul has filed numerous bills of this kind and yet, his colleagues keep stopping them from getting passed. I guess the American people, no matter how much they complain about the “Islamic problem”, don’t really care. They didn’t seem to want to support the only person who was and still is actually doing anything about their complaints.

This situation shows the huge disconnect between actual issues and how familiar people are with the connection of those issues to the presidential candidates. It seems to be more of a beauty contest, or, worse yet, who can get create the most attention from the media so that they will focus on him or her the most, thus giving free publicity. (And we won’t mention his name but we all know who that might be…)

This shows that we as a movement have a LOT more work to do to educate and inform the public who seem oblivious to who is and has been doing the work for THEM.
