Defeat SB 136 and HCR 2 in NH Senate

The push is on to defeat the call for an Article V Convention in NH.

Out-of-state lobbyists from Cenk Uygur’s WolfPAC and the Convention of State Project are working together in NH to get the progressive call for an Article V Convention passed here.

HCR 2 (Democrat-sponsored bill) passed by a slim margin in the House and will cross over to the Senate at the end of March. The Senate has a bill, SB 136 that is being promoted by Senator Lou D’Allesandro. It calls for decimating your first amendment rights to bundle money for campaigns.

Both SB 136 and HCR 2 must NOT pass in the Senate. HCR 1 must pass in both the House and Senate.

A judge has already decided that freedom of speech, and Citizens United, stands under the 1st amendment.

Here is the (unenforceable, token) ballot initiative that Senator D’Allesandro bragged about which passed in 56 NH towns. We hardly think voters knew they were voting to open up the US Constitution. [Click for larger view]
