Medicaid Expansion (ACA) is Wrong for NH

The NH Senate’s Health Education and Services Committee voted to recommend Medicaid expansion.

According to a paper by Wendy Warcholik, it will cost $1,123 per household or the loss of 10,180 jobs and move NH from its rank as largest private sector in the nation to #2 behind CT.

Do Republican Senators Stiles and Reagan care at all about NH’s private sector or taxpayers?

The road to hell is paved with good intentions — Medicaid expansion paves the way for an economy like ME or VT in the future. Unfortunately, Medicaid expansion is the one thing that could very well usher in a sales or income tax — the floodgates to federal dependency have been opened in NH.
