Americans are Preparing for the Worst

Are you a terrorist? You might be, according to some government reports.

Are you someone who…

– believes in the sovereignty of the United States of America
– believes the Constitution and Bill of Rights is the ultimate law of the land, not the UN
– believes the government should have no role in education or health care
– believes in states’ rights
– stocks up on food for emergencies such as natural disasters that could cause shortages
does not want chemically altered water or genetically altered food
– pays for groceries and coffee with cash
– carries pocket Constitutions
– displays bumper stickers about individual rights or rejecting the UN
– is suspicious of big government and central authority
– is for sound money (anti-Fed) and less taxation (anti-IRS)
– believes in the non-interventionist policies of the founders
– is against the militarization of local law enforcement
– is against the illegal spying of Americans by government agencies
– is suspicious of foreign troops that have been confirmed as being trained on our soil

These are typical beliefs of most tea partiers and many others who do not even identify with any particular group.

But according to this recent training manual obtained by Judicial Watch from the US Department of Defense entitled “Extremism”, those of you who cherish “individual liberties” and honor “states’ rights,” among other characteristics, are potential “extremists” who are likely to be members of “hate groups.”

The document defines “extremists” as “a person who advocates the use of force or violence; advocates supremacist causes based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or national origin; or otherwise engages to illegally deprive individuals or groups of their civil rights.'”

Of course the tea party advocates NONE of the things mentioned in the paragraph directly above so we’re not sure how that description reconciles with the list of beliefs mentioned at the top of this piece.

Other examples of “extremism” cited were American colonists who sought independence from British rule, and secessionists.

The document also wrongly conflates those who talk of “individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place” with those who are doing so “instead of dressing in sheets”.

Really.

The document, as others have in the past, relies heavily on the advice of a group called the Southern Poverty Law Center, themselves considered to be a hate group after being held directly responsible for the “hate crime” perpetrated on the Family Research Council.

There is never any mention of foreign terrorists in these official documents but only the activities of those who believe in basic conservative values such as the those of the founders, as being “suspicious”. Questioning the “war on terror” therefore, is also suspect.

Is it, therefore, any wonder that citizens are wondering if government agencies are precipitating a collapse and thus preparing for an all out attack on US citizens? With documents such as these, it is as if the core of our government has been co-opted by some upside-down ideology like communism. Clearly this internationally-based, forced, utopian-styled ideology seems to have taken over everything except the RTKBA, which is seen to be in peril as well.

Here is what some experts had to say about why Americans are preparing for the worst:
