We need you to write to your US Senators and Representatives to DEFUND The Partnership for Sustainable Communities!
Yesterday a Senate subcommittee cast a vote to fund the Partnership for Sustainable Communities in next year’s budget.
That’s terrible news for local residents and property rights advocates. If you were one of the many people who sent a letter to your members of Congress, thank you! But your voice was drowned out by those who want the federal government to continue to interfere with our local communities with programs such as the Granite State Future.
Tomorrow morning full committees in both the House and Senate will consider the proposed bills. That means we still need to speak out AGAINST THESE PROGRAMS.
Help DEFUND the Partnership for Sustainable Communities: Send a letter to Congress today.
The House bill on the other hand, would SLASH all funding for Partnership programs at the Department of Transportation and Housing and Urban Development. Representatives need to hear our voice TO SUPPORT THESE CUTS.
The Senate proposal is more dangerous, but will have to survive negotiations between the chambers. The Senate needs to hear our loud, clear OPPOSITION for these programs.
Tell both chambers you OPPOSE the Partnership.
