Shame on Pheasant Lane Mall’s Apple Store

These two Nashua cops ought to be fired and have their pensions taken from them ASAP.

If a teacher so much as looks crooked at a student, that’s what happens to them, but somehow cops can brutalize a tiny woman and it’s of no consequence?

We talk about how China violates the civil rights of its citizens, and yet, look how we treat people here.

Apparently this non-English speaking Chinese woman was attempting to buy 2 iPhones at the Apple Store in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH. But because she had bought 2 the week before, and was trying to pay cash, she was asked to leave the store. We fail to see how this could be construed as a crime? Judging from the video, the woman doesn’t look like she is very threatening, nor does she display the demeanor of a criminal, or even a person who could become belligerent. The two thugs that tasered her ought to be ashamed of themselves knowing that because she could not speak English, she could not explain what she wanted.

We decry this kind of racial profiling and police brutality in America. We are better than this.

Update of December 15: We were just given the heads up that according to the Union Leader, a Manchester NH newspaper, Nashua Police found ‘no misconduct on the part of arresting officers’ who used lethal force of 50,000 volts on a tiny Chinese woman.

Isn’t it great that they can just investigate themselves and come up with that conclusion?

You have to ask yourselves, what could possibly have warranted using a deadly instrument that overrides the central nervous system and has already caused 500 deaths? Even the ACLU has agreed, stating that “The new evidence that Tasers can cause cardiac arrest and death, coupled with the disturbing trend of officers using Tasers in flagrantly unnecessary situations, makes it all the more troubling that states do not uniformly or consistently govern or regulate officers’ use of Tasers. This means that Taser policies vary greatly between police departments, often leading to vague, outdated and inaccurate guidelines that result in misunderstanding about the misuse of these allegedly non-lethal weapons.”
