The Case for Moral Relativism at Occupy Rallies

Those of us who have pored over hundreds of pages of IB (International Baccalaureate – UNESCO’s program for American schools) documentation know that the Theory of Knowledge class is where the students are challenged for their values.

We were appalled to see a TOK question that asked you to discuss whether your perspective allowed you to see and judge someone as a “Terrorist or Freedom Fighter”…

Now we can see some of this ‘values’ education coming into play. Behold the last paragraph of this Occupy document that tells activists when it’s ok to ‘kill a cop’.

“The next time you hear of a police officer being killed “in the line of duty,” take a moment to consider the very real possibility that maybe in that case, the “law enforcer” was the bad guy and the “cop killer” was the good guy. As it happens, that has been the case more often than not throughout human history.”
