Beware the Impostors

NH residents participated in the very first tea party in 2007 and the second one in DC in 2008. Those same residents founded the NHTPC long before the first statewide tea party in 2009 was held in Manchester. That event drew 4,000 people and was their first ‘joint’ effort. NHTPC pride ourselves on being a NH-only coalition of groups who support the tea party movement. As a movement, there is NO NATIONAL LEADER!

Therefore groups calling themselves ‘tea party’ who have set themselves up as national umbrella groups and/or who are looking for money from you, or to ‘organize’ you are impostors. Most recently we’ve gotten mail from www.theteaparty.net which we traced to a GOP PAC.

Likewise, some of you who run 912 groups may have gotten a call from someone claiming to be the “newly appointed North East director of the 9.12 groups”. Please do not fall for this as there is no such thing as any “newly appointed North East director of the 9.12 groups”!

Glenn Beck suggested the title ‘912’ for those groups but his people do not organize it and there is no other centralized chain of command. Do not fall for it.

The NHTPC is simply an independent coalition of groups that support the tea party mission and strives to educate and inform the public on behalf of all the groups. It does not allow groups outside NH or from DC or from the internet to organize, infiltrate or take any info from us… our eblast list is confidential.

If you get calls or emails from any of the above impostors, please ignore them!
