Nickel and Dimed Book is Just the Tip of the Iceberg

Nickel and Dimed is Just the Tip of the Iceberg

Would it not be nice if parents and taxpayers would sit up, take notice, and DO SOMETHING before a book they object to makes it into the curriculum?

Contrary to what one might think from reading Greg Kwasnik’s story about the parents who complained about the book here in the UL, this issue is far wider and deeper than just one book.

Today the Fox and Friends crew with Glenn Beck briefly mentioned it while showing Bedford, NH on a map. And WHDH-TV and CBS also picked it up on the local news. It also made it into a UK newspaper blog.

And yet, more of the story is missing than not.

Did your child ever come home with a book or an idea that promoted a political notion of some sort? Did you see anything else that seemed ‘odd’ to be promoted in a public school?

Up until Bedford NH had its own high school, students attended West High in Manchester. West High has a great skills-based curriculum and Bedford students typically fell within the top third of the class and went on to better colleges.

But a certain faction in Bedford had been pushing to build its own high school since 1989. They just kept pushing and pushing and eventually, the bond to build a $49M high school (the cost of which eventually turned into $79M) was passed at a vote which took place on the night of a March snowstorm. Despite promises that taxes would only go up a few dimes (back of postcard), many residents were priced right out of their homes as the typical increase was about $2,000/yr.

And while the physical plant was being planned the International Baccalaureate program was being considered in stealth mode and without input from taxpayers or parents.

A minimal of research will reveal that the mission of the IB program, which schools and teachers must pledge to promote, is the UN’s mission of world government. That’s it in a nutshell. Our government schools are now promoting the UN’s agenda, even without IB, and have been for a long time. So is it any wonder that books and tests and other materials are anti-capitalism, anti-business, anti-religion, anti-borders, anti-family, and anti-sovereignty?

George Soros and others like him are counting on the collapse of the US so that his minions can move in and set up their world government. They have had control of our childrens’ minds, by design, for a very long time. They are planning to control the airwaves, the internet, and have attempted to control the water and food supplies. It is all coming to a head. Not letting November 2 get in their way, they are regrouping and reforming the phalanxes of opposition to those who want to preserve the Constitution and the rights protected therein.

The tea party must not back down now. Leftwing, revolutionary violence is on the rise, more and more leftist groups are coming forth, and the word ‘communism’ has now become popular among the youth.

Please download and read this file which is a speech of the one-time head of IBO. It tells the true mission of IB, which is not just to teach about other cultures and countries, but that the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the highest authority from which we derive our ‘rights’.

As far as we are concerned, this is the smoking gun that every school board member needs to read.
