Setting Mike Brunelle Straight

If you are a resident of NH, you might have read an angry, sadly misinformed letter to the editor that was published at Fosters.com on November 28, 2009 from Mike Brunelle, and operative of the NH Democrat Party.

We would like to caution Mr. Brunelle against making such false claims.

To set the record straight for those who are not our regular readers, here is where Brunelle went wrong:

1 – The New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition is not a “group of local Republicans” and in fact has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the Republican Party. We do not take directions or money from, are not organized by, nor do we report back to the GOP. Period.

2 – Brunelle should avoid making false statements that might be considered libelous… The facts are there have never been any threats of violence or acts of violence made by tea partiers, not here in NH, and not anywhere in the COUNTRY. There has never even been one scuffle, arrest, or even a parking ticket issued, despite millions of people gathering in DC, and elsewhere by the thousands at different events. He does not name one incident, because he can’t. The NH Tea Party Coalition does not, and has never threatened anyone, either verbally or physically.

Brunelle is making this up. It is a total smear.

If you are a regular reader, then you know just how much violence has been perpetrated by the left, about a dozen incidents, including but not limited to, beating of a black man by two SEIU thugs, biting off of a finger of a tea partier, and the recent attack on peaceful protesters in the street by hitting then over the head with Che Guevara signs, and spitting on and kicking an armed man in Portsmouth…

Then there are the veiled threats, such as this one: NorthFulton.com

Don’t be fooled by the media’s failure to report. Do your own homework. It is the radical left, fueled by the violent rhetoric of the Brunelle types, that are the ones doing the actual violence in an effort to stifle free speech.
