Shaheen: Insists NH is Warming, NOAA Says Otherwise

In a recent missive from NH’s US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, she stated:

“Confronting climate change is an environmental and economic imperative for our state. In New Hampshire climate change is already altering the beautiful landscape of our state, and scientists have documented warmer winters with less snowfall and the earlier arrival of spring. As a state where tourism is our second largest industry, we simply can’t afford to lose our ability to offer snowmobiling, hunting and fishing, or our first-rate skiing – a $650 million annual industry alone.”

Wow. Can someone honestly say that for billions of years the earth has not been warming and cooling naturally, without any effects from humans, which in the grand scheme of things, did not exist until earth’s recent history? How much exactly has the temperature changed in 100 years? Wouldn’t a fluctuation of 1 degree (either way) seem reasonable even considering that this has been during the industrial age? Where is common sense here?
