Someone sent us this press release that was just issued by the NH GOP. We could not agree with them more. While Porter has agreed to hold town halls in ‘federal buildings’ (although destined to be farces packed with supporters) apparently Shaheen and Hodes are going to chance their re-elections by ignoring the majority.

HODES AND SHEA-PORTER TO END AUGUST RECESS WITH SECRET SPECIAL INTEREST SEND-OFF
After Weeks Of Dodging Constituents, Hodes and Shea-Porter To Party With Union Bosses,
Special Interest Groups And Campaign Contributors At Clandestine Location
CONCORD – The New Hampshire Democrat Party today announced that after weeks of avoiding contact with average New Hampshire voters, Paul Hodes and Carol Shea-Porter will mark the end of the Congressional recess with a secret party hosted by liberal special interest organizations. The event, sponsored by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), well-funded advocacy groups and President Obama’s national propaganda operation, will be held at an undisclosed location in Portsmouth this evening.
According to a press release distributed by the state Democrat Party today, the event’s clandestine location is “not for publication.” The gathering is not open to the public and will be limited to liberal activists and party insiders.
“Paul Hodes and Carol Shea-Porter have spent the entire summer dodging questions about their support for a government takeover of health care and avoiding face-to-face contact with their constituents. Their decision to mark the end of the Congressional recess with a private party hosted by union bosses and liberal special interest groups at a secret location is an insult to New Hampshire voters.” said NHGOP Communications Director Ryan Williams. “It’s time to replace Paul Hodes and Carol Shea-Porter with representatives who will actually meet with their constituents instead of limiting access to political insiders and campaign contributors.”
