Shea-Porter to Dodge Constituents Again

On Wednesday evening, NH Representative Carol-Shea Porter held a closed tele-town hall meeting for AARP members who haven’t yet jumped ship. How nice to be able to hand pick your audience.

Sources tells us that a robo-call was received to notify them that Shea-Porter will hold another tele-town hall tomorrow night (Friday) at 7:00 PM. Details are sketchy.

Not the brightest bulb on the circuit, Porter was quoted in a recent UL article as saying, “If you look at the list of the healthiest countries, we’re not there.”

Maybe Carol, could it be because we have such good medical care, our citizens live longer and therefore more illnesses are realized later in life? Whereas in Canada or the UK, many sick people may never make it to be that age, so there are less of them?

How to cook the books, Shea-Porter-style. Not to worry Carol, your soon-to-be replacement Frank Guinta will be holding an open and honest town hall in Exeter on August 31. (See events page)

Senator Shaheen, Shea-Porter, and Paul Hodes have all be ducking their constituents when it comes to facing them at real town hall meetings. Where is Ray Buckley when you need him?
