Obamacare: Nightmare Proposition of the Fringe

Seniors don’t want it… and with good reason. Yet organizations that are supposed to speak for their well being do not want to listen to their members.

See this video of an AARP Health Care Town Hall

Comments from under a blog:

“I am a 70 year old whose medical costs are high, but I do NOT want government controlled health care!!! My current Medicare coverage is sufficient. For those with less income, there are already programs to assist them. Senator Carl Levin on radio yesterday, tried to make us believe that all the people disagreeing with him at a town meeting were from organized ‘rabble rousers’. NOT SO!!!! I am cancelling my membership to AARP and will tell them I’ll rejoin IF the government health care program goes down the tubes.”

Middle America doesn’t want it either.

Young people who cannot yet vote will be at risk too.

That is who you are seeing at tea party protests… people who can’t believe how far this government has gone off into the fringe with the suggestion that government should control how health care is dispensed in this country.

If health care here is so bad, why do we see so many from Canada and the UK coming here to get treated? Because as everyone knows, the government managed situation in those countries is a deplorable failure.

Nevertheless rabid proponents of Obamacare, who have no compunction about trusting their very lives to government, have desperately resorted to a lot of name-calling and accusations of “mob” manipulation by ‘shadowy’ entities about those who would oppose them. Yet they can’t come up with any proof of those entities. They are shadowy alright – because they don’t exist.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is the one who first used the N word so casually.

Pelosi’s approval rating shows she has lost all credibility. Her flagrant and irresponsible comments about Nazis, bussing, and astro-turfing by the ‘rich’ are totally false. This outright contempt for those who simply want to be left alone is likely a good part of the reason that Americans are rejecting the idea of government-controlled health care.

Keep talkin’ Nance.

In NH, our Representatives Hodes and Porter and our Senator Shaheen think that by refusing to meet with the ‘hordes’ of opponents who disagree with them, they can make it look like we don’t exist. If anyone’s rights were trampled it’s we who were intimidated and then further trashed and demonized in Shaheen’s recent irresponsible press release on Hampstead, where she falsely claimed that constituents from NH were ‘intimidated’. We can assure you that nothing of the kind happened so we wondering why her staff would characterize it that way.

The message from Shaheen was clear: I don’t care what you think.

And back to Pelosi, last I checked, those who DO want bigger and more intrusive government and higher taxes are the ones who could be said to be following in the footsteps of the “Nazis”.

But there is even a more disturbing connection to the Nazis… since you brought it up Nancy…

The very basis for Obamacare is akin to the philosophy that is espoused by those who want a controlled society. In order to control a society, you must be able to control their money, their education, their health care, and their food.

Looks like they have accomplished almost everything on that list except health doesn’t it. While all this was going on, one of many dangerous bills controlling food supplies was quietly passed. But I digress – I want to show you just how these people who advise Obama, think.

If the ideas on health care of energy czar John Holdren (‘czars’ are unconstitutional by the way) didn’t already give you nightmares, consider these quotes by Cass Sunstein and Ezekiel Emanuel, two other presidential advisors, to get an idea:

“Services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed.”

“When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated.”

“Ultimately, the complete lives system…empowers us to decide fairly whom to save when genuine scarcity makes saving everyone impossible.”

“Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda. If the automakers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration’s health-reform effort.”

And last but not least: Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely ‘lipstick’ cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change. Savings will require changing how doctors think about their patients. Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others.”

Folks, that’s what Obamacare is all about. It is not about saving money by giving care, it’s about taking it away.

Another “czar” is Cass Sunstein, who wrote in the Columbia Law Review in January 2004: “I urge that the government should indeed focus on life-years rather than lives. A program that saves young people produces more welfare than one that saves old people.”

So you see, it’s not about health or caring for anyone. It’s about managing us, and how much we will be allowed to spend to stay alive, according to how productive our stage of life. These megalomaniacal madmen look upon us as nothing more than ‘human capital’. To them, we are less important than a slug or a tree, and must be subject to manipulation and culling by the ruling elites who are very worried that there won’t be any ‘resources’ left for their own families.

Peter Singer, another advisor to the President is credited with having created the Culture of Death.

Let’s face it, Obama’s “Healthcare” is Nazi-Style Eugenics with a Smile. Let there be no doubt. If Obama’s eugenicists and social engineers (Holdren, Sunstein, Emanuel) get hold of our health care system, the biggest burden will be paid by the weak, the old, the unborn, the dying, and the sick. The most vulnerable (and most expensive) among us will be targeted by having treatment denied or delayed. This is an important debate. Your life may literally be on the line.

“We must now face the harsh truth that the objectives of communism are being steadily advanced because many of us do not recognize the means used to advance them… The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst.”

– J. Edgar Hoover

Notes: See more alarming ideas of Holdren who idolized eugenicist Harrison Brown, and also the ideas of John Holdren on using global energy taxes to fuel international government.
He detailed the mechanism for global socialism just two years ago. In a February 2007 report of which he was a coordinating lead author, urges the United Nations to undertake “a global framework” that is “more comprehensive and ambitious” than the Kyoto Protocol. Holdren states the UN must mandate “A requirement for the early establishment of a substantial price on carbon emissions in all countries, whether by a carbon tax or a tradable permit approach.” Although he prefers a global carbon tax presided over by a United Nations-strength IRS, he is open to a stringent global cap-and-trade program. However, that program must contain: “A means for transferring some of the revenue produced by carbon taxes upon, or permits purchased by, countries and consumers with high incomes and high per capita emissions to countries and consumers with low incomes and low per capita emissions” (pp. 70-72).
