Plymouth Tea Party a Success

According to Omer Ahern, about 125 people turned out to demonstrate at the June 17 TEA Party rally that he organized on Plymouth Common Wednesday evening. Contrary to the accusation that TEA Parties are a “political arm of the Republican Party”, the TEA Party rallies have nothing whatsoever to do with the NH GOP and are well-attended by Independents and Democrats as well.
“Organized by local tree farmer and attorney Omer Ahern Jr. the rally is one of a growing number of anti-tax rallies and demonstrations throughout the county organized and attended by those who are opposed to increased taxes to pay for more government.”
