MoveOn.org Violence

Outside her campaign HQ in Carmel, NY earlier today, Nan Hayworth supporters gathered peacefully to show their support for her congressional candidacy, after they found out MoveOn.org was planning a protest. They outnumbered MoveOn.org.

This was too much, evidently, for a member of MoveOn.org, who was there protesting in support of opponent John Hall.

The MoveOn.org supporter eventually lashed out at an independent cameraman and lunged at one of Hayworth’s supporters. Part of the attack was captured on camera.
