Subject: Midnight votes
To: Sen. Jeanne Shaheen
Dear Senator —
Has it occurred to you that bribery, secrecy and votes in the dead of the night are not exactly endorsements for good legislation?
I consider this Congress, in fact this government, illegitimate by virtue of its actions that are illegal, unconstitutional and in total opposition to the people you and your colleagues were elected to represent, thereby nullifying your legitimate role.
Using taxpayer funds to buy votes to pass legislation that is overwhelmingly rejected by those same taxpayers, and that will ultimately harm them, is grounds for dismissal, if not court challenge.
You disgrace New Hampshire, America and our Constitution.
Further — I know no one will read this, because you have stopped caring or listening to your constituents — further grounds for your eagerly awaited de-throning.
What you are doing should keep you awake at night. That it doesn’t is proof of your corruption.
A Constituent
