PSU Prof Incites Anti-Tea Party Rally

The police have been notified. We are the only ones who have a permit to rally on this date at this location. Please come and show your support for the tea party! Please wear your YELLOW tea party t-shirt – some will be available at the rally.

“There is a NH Tea Party Rally scheduled for April 15th – noon – in Concord. The students at PSU would welcome your support as they plan their anti-Tea Party Rally. They were on vacation this past week and were all going home to get some of their home town friends that attend other colleges involved. Their second organizational meeting is scheduled for March 29th – 7PM at Hyde Hall – Room 315. All PAD members and others are invited to the planning meeting. As soon as that meeting is over and the plans are set I plan to send out the notice below to as many Dem groups as I can reach and will also put it on the NH Out of the House Facebook page…

On March 15th I attended an organizational meeting of some activist students at PSU. They are planning to hold a counter rally at the Tea Party Rally in Concord scheduled for April 15th. From what I read in the newspaper Rick Santorum and Tim Pawlenty will be attending the Tea Party rally.

The PSU students are making plans and since they were on vacation last week, they went home and see if they could get some support from their friends who attend other colleges. They are concentrating on educational issues – Pell Grants, increases in tuition…the list of assaults on education and our youth is endless. The discussion last Tuesday was about the importance of not rising to the bait, music and wearing lime green tee shirts…

They would like to ask supporters to stand with them – not to take center stage – but as a statement of our support of today’s youth. Please stand with our students on April 15 at noon in Concord.”
