AFT-AFL-CIO Shilling for Hodes and Porter

Some of you are union members because you were forced to be as a condition of your work. Well, sometimes people pool their resources — this is what we do when we buy insurance after all.
However, there is no excuse for our forced union dues to be used to shill for candidates we don’t like. There is no legal precedent for this and it should be illegal. It comes under the offense called ‘compelled speech’.
AFT and the AFL-CIO are calling to ask if their members are supporting Hodes and Porter.
