In a recent mini-interview with a NH video-journalist, Mitt Romney was asked a few questions.
First let us say that Mitt Romney seems like a very decent guy, has a very nice family, and we have nothing against him. But we strongly recommend that he reconsider any notions of running for president in 2012. Why? His ideas are not in line with most mainstream concerns about the size and scope of government or what is actually causing inflation, economic depression, and massive deficits.
1) Health Care – President Obama’s egregious passage of the law that would put government in charge of health care was by Obama’s own admission, based on the Romney plan that was instituted in Massachusetts when Romney was Governor. What does this tell you about Romney’s ideas for what the size and scope of government ought to be?
2) Federal Reserve – When confronted by citizen video journalist Dave Ridley, Romney claimed the Federal Reserve is already audited. If this were true, there would have been no reason for Congressman Ron Paul to proffer HR 1207, a bill to allow the full audit of the world bank. Moreover, the fact that when questioned by a member of Congress Ben Bernanke could or would not admit where the government’s $500 Billion went is a clue to the fact that they are working on the premise that there is no ruling authority over the agency as claimed by Alan Greenspan former Chairman.
The Federal Reserve prints the money, creates the inflation tax, and manipulates the interest rates and is tied to the World Bank. Most tea partiers know that the ‘fed’ is the cause of most of our financial woes over the years. They must go. Romney is not down with that, as he tells Dave just before he gets in his truck and drives off.
