Black leaders in the tea party try to get a reporter to disavow the false idea that anyone spit in John Lewis’ face that day in DC… and emphasize that Shirley Sherrod is a perfect example of racism, even if she claims to have rejected that sentiment later… she said what she said, and when she said it, that is how she felt.

Further these black folks have the self respect to know that they should not use the race card where it does not apply. They know they are welcome to the tea party and society in general.

“Read your Constitution!” Way to go, brother! THAT is the issue! The fact that progressives are trying to paint the tea party as a groups whose very existence is for the purpose of racism is patently absurd and these folks know it.
