The financial reform issue is hot because the Senate must now reconcile the bill it has passed with the differences in the one that was passed in the House. One of NH’s Senators is against it, Judd Gregg, and understandably.
This bill does nothing to rein in Freddie and Fannie, but gives the Fed more power and creates even more government agencies and bureaucracies. It also does not prevent future bailouts.
