Is The Tea Party Having An Impact?

Steny Hoyer admitted Tuesday that the protests and rallies by Tea Party activists across the
country are having an impact on lawmaker’s decisions about running for another term.
He also admitted that as a politician he lies.
As more proof of the influence the people are having, two incumbents in Texas, one who was the oldest serving, were defeated by more conservative candidates.
And the amazing thing? One was a Republican.
