ObamaCare Means Huge Tax Increases for NH Residents

What You Can Do About It – Updated

Now that the US House of Representatives has passed the behemoth and some say unconstitutional HR 3962 ‘health care’ bill, we will need to focus on our NH Senators.

While Judd Gregg wants no part of punishing us with the biggest government entitlement in history, including mandated insurance and the installation of CER boards, you will need to remind Senator Jeanne Shaheen NOT to vote for any health care bill that comes to the Senate floor because it would be devastating to our health decisions, pocketbooks, and our freedoms in general. Jeanne Shaheen needs to be bombarded with email and phone messages to remind her that it is the MAJORITY that is not in favor of it.

According to Senator Judd Gregg, Republicans are not being let in on the process of crafting the Senate health care bill. He recently told FOX’s Greta Van Susteren that the Senate bill is being written by three or four maybe five senators behind closed doors in Harry Reid’s office. Nobody’s seen it, and nobody knows what’s in it. Sounds like business as usual.

Letters to the editor on this subject are in order as well. See NH Newspapers Page for the email address of every newspaper in NH.

History

New Hampshire residents found out that both Congressmen, Hodes and Shea-Porter, voted for the US House proposed Health care bill HR 3962 over the objections of their constituents.

This monstrosity of a bill not only includes federal funding for abortions, and severe penalties including jail time for people who do not purchase insurance, but it is set to unleash havoc on the NH State budget, costing the state in new spending and lost revenue over $1 Billion Dollars by 2020!! No doubt, if this current health care package is passed, New Hampshire will see an income or sales tax just to partially cover the new costs of this bill!

Call and ask them why they dared to levy millions of dollars in new taxes on New Hampshire residents. Tell them you do not approve.

Congressman Paul Hodes
579-6913
221 Main St., Suite 201, Nashua

Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter
641-9536
33 Lowell St., Manchester

Also, Call Governor Lynch at 271-2121 and ask him WHY he is not doing anything to STOP this bill as it is going to cost NH taxpayers millions of dollars in new taxes!

Note: Refresh your memory about how one of the Obama ‘czars’ feels about managing our health care.

And another who thinks we spend too much on health care…
And another… and one of the people he adulates.
