The UN believes in sexual freedom for minors, or the ’emancipated’ child. They feel that children of all ages have sexual ‘rights’. To that end, their influence in our schools<\/a> has been nothing short of disastrous for the remaining innocents whose parents expected themselves to be the ones delivering sex education information to their own children.<\/p>\n

Parents in a small Washington State community are infuriated after their 11-year-old children were given graphic descriptions of oral and anal sex during a sex education class led by an elementary school principal.<\/p>\n

Fifth-graders at Onalaska Elementary School were supposed to get a lesson about HIV-AIDS, but the class discussion turned graphic when a child asked about other forms of sexual activity. The principal, who happened to be teaching the class, then told the children about oral and anal sex.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m one pissed off cowboy,\u201d parent James Gilliand told Fox News Radio. \u201cI didn\u2019t appreciate them teaching my daughter \u2013 who is innocent of that \u2013 at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilliland and his wife, Kadra, were among the moms and dads in Onalaska, about 73 miles south of Tacoma, demanding answers from their local school system \u2013 and so far \u2013 they are still waiting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just shocked because I trusted my little country school,\u201d Kadra Gilliland told Fox News Radio. \u201cI didn\u2019t think they were going to talk about such things. I trusted by school \u2013 that\u2019s the bottom line and they crossed the line.\u201d<\/p>\n

School officials did not return calls seeking comment. However, Superintendent Scott Fenter defended the principal\u2019s action to local media and said that the lesson did not go too far.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the principal handled it appropriately at the time; she only gave factual information, no demonstrations,\u201d Fenter told NWCN.com. \u201cBecause in sixth grade they start becoming sexually aware and you\u2019ve got to teach them ahead of time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview with Seattle\u2019s Q-13 Fox News, Fenter said the lessons came from \u201cstate-adopted curriculum.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn reality, she stuck to the curriculum,\u201d he told Seattle\u2019s Q-13 Fox News. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty difficult to talk about STDs or sexually transmitted diseases without explaining what that is, or how it\u2019s transmitted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since 1988 Washington State has required some sort of sex education starting in the fifth grade.<\/p>\n

\u201cKids leaving 5th grade and moving into middle school start getting exposed to a lot more information, and we know that`s the age where many children start to become sexually active, unfortunately,\u201d Fenter told the Fox affiliate. \u201cAnd that`s a scary thought, (but) that`s the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Parent Curtis Pannkuk said if that\u2019s the case \u2013 the curriculum needs to be changed.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the other parents said it well \u2013 they raped the minds of the ten year old, eleven year old kids,\u201d he told Fox News Radio. \u201cChildren were traumatized.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Pannkuk and Gilliland families said they knew something was wrong when the daughters came home from school. They were quiet and withdrawn.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou could tell she was embarrassed,\u201d Jean Pannkuk told Fox News Radio. \u201cShe didn\u2019t want to have to repeat what had been said. It was really sad to see her struggle with feeling like she was responsible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pannkuk and her husband sat their daughter down and asked her explain what she was taught in the class.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou take a man\u2019s penis and you put it in your mouth \u2013 that\u2019s what the girls do to the boys,\u201d their daughter told the couple. \u201cThe boys spread the girls legs apart and put their mouths down on the vaginas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pannkuk said he became enraged as his 11-year-old daughter recounted what the principal had told the classroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cSteam was coming out my ears,\u201d he said. \u201cI was very, very upset. I understand that they need to teach these kids sex education \u2013 but 11-year-olds? I have a problem with that. The wife and I were very \u2013 very upset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilliland said another child explained to their parents that it \u201cwas basically like a lollipop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of pissed off parents besides this pissed-off cowboy,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve been told they\u2019re getting sexually active, younger and younger \u2013 maybe in the city \u2013 but not here in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Supt. Fenter told Seattle\u2019s Fox affiliate that parents were sent a notice informing them about the program \u2013 and that they had a right to review the curriculum. But he said, only three parents showed up.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Pannkuk said she was aware of the class \u201cbut I didn\u2019t know it was going to be that explicit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilliland said he has no problem teaching sex education \u2013 but this particular class went too far.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one thing to teach about reproduction,\u201d he said. \u2018She knows about breeding her guinea pigs, horses, dogs and so on. She knows how babies are born and how they are created, but when they go teaching them these extra acts \u2013 it\u2019s appalling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mrs. Gilliland said it\u2019s important for parents across the nation to get involved and to pay attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe more involved in your school,\u201d she said. \u201cSee what your kids are learning. Pay attention. Talk to your kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said many of the families are now dealing with the aftermath of the class.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe should be bouncing on the trampoline, riding horses \u2013 doing normal kid stuff,\u201d she said of her daughter. \u201cWe don\u2019t need to talk about that stuff at that age.<\/p>\n

But now they do.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe damage is done,\u201d Pannkuk said.<\/em><\/p>\n
