{"id":8386,"date":"2011-10-28T20:08:05","date_gmt":"2011-10-29T00:08:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nhteapartycoalition.org\/tea\/?p=8386"},"modified":"2011-10-28T22:37:05","modified_gmt":"2011-10-29T02:37:05","slug":"the-case-for-moral-relativism-at-occupy-rallies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.nhteapartycoalition.org\/tea\/2011\/10\/28\/the-case-for-moral-relativism-at-occupy-rallies\/","title":{"rendered":"The Case for Moral Relativism at Occupy Rallies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those of us who have pored over hundreds of pages of IB (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibo.org\">International Baccalaureate<\/a> &#8211; UNESCO&#8217;s program for American schools) documentation know that the Theory of Knowledge class is where the students are challenged for their values.<\/p>\n<p>We were appalled to see a TOK question that asked you to discuss whether your perspective allowed you to see and judge someone as a &#8220;Terrorist or Freedom Fighter&#8221;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Now we can see some of this &#8216;values&#8217; education coming into play. Behold the last paragraph of this Occupy document that tells activists when it&#8217;s ok to &#8216;kill a cop&#8217;.<br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n&#8220;The next time you hear of a police officer being killed \u201cin the line of duty,\u201d take a moment to consider the very real possibility that maybe in that case, the \u201claw enforcer\u201d was the bad guy and the \u201ccop killer\u201d was the good guy.
