If you walk the halls of the high school in Amherst NH (Souhegan #39) you will see ONE<\/a> posters all over the walls.<\/p>\n

The kids are apparently forced to support the agenda of ONE. ONE is merely a lobbying group whose agenda is to get people to support the UN’s MDG Goals of redistribution of the wealth through legislation such as Obama’s Global Poverty Act – reprised in 2010. However, actual passage of the bill was not required as seen in this request for foreign aid in a letter signed by certain congressmen including Carol Shea-Porter of District 1.<\/p>\n

Congratulations! Your hard work got 101 representatives to sign a letter to the president asking him to make a three-year commitment of $6 billion to the Global Fund. The letter was initiated Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA). This fall, international donors will gather to make three-year funding commitments as part of the Global Fund\u2019s replenishment process. As the founding contributor and largest donor to the Global Fund, a strong pledge from the U.S. will help leverage additional contributions from other donor countries. Historically, every $1 from the U.S. has been matched by $2 from other sources.<\/p>\n
