{"id":4882,"date":"2010-08-26T17:31:13","date_gmt":"2010-08-26T21:31:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nhteapartycoalition.org\/tea\/?p=4882"},"modified":"2010-08-26T17:34:26","modified_gmt":"2010-08-26T21:34:26","slug":"freedomworks-hit-with-death-threats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.nhteapartycoalition.org\/tea\/2010\/08\/26\/freedomworks-hit-with-death-threats\/","title":{"rendered":"FreedomWorks Hit With Death Threats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/politics.usnews.com\/news\/blogs\/washington-whispers\/2010\/08\/25\/tea-party-group-hit-with-death-threats\">FreedomWorks<\/a> is a conservative group that has been around for a pretty long time.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently leftists are taking to heart the press articles that claim FreedomWorks is a leader or funder of the &#8216;tea party&#8217; and thus have been egged on enough to attack FW with profanity-laced phone calls and death threats, including the mention of the use of weapons.<\/p>\n<p>No matter how you view FreedomWorks, they don&#8217;t deserve any of this media-inspired violence from the socialism-loving crowd.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/politics.usnews.com\/news\/blogs\/washington-whispers\/2010\/08\/25\/tea-party-group-hit-with-death-threats\">Politics US News<\/a> reports &#8220;FreedomWorks provided some of the recordings of the threatening calls to Whispers and they include physical threats and profanity aimed at the group, Tea Party spokesmen and even conservative talkers. &#8220;You guys better watch it,&#8221; says one caller. &#8220;Now, we are going to destroy and obliterate Rush [Limbaugh] and Sean Hannity,&#8221; said another. <strong>&#8220;Those two guys are dead.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once again we blame the rhetoric in the press that is so obsessed with the tea party, who might its leaders be, who might be &#8216;funding&#8217; it, (hint: there is no funding) and so forth, ginning up the people who then dare to make these terrible threats. These haters don&#8217;t want you to have freedom of speech as we learned early on in NH when Soros-funded groups sought to smear NHTPC with bogus press releases and possible infiltration of events with antics designed to make us look less than savory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FreedomWorks is a conservative group that has been around for a pretty long time.
