The NHTPC and its participants support the Second Amendment and the right to self defense, unconditionally. Furthermore, we agree that ALL federal gun control is unconstitutional.<\/a><\/p>\n

In the wake of the Florida shootings we denounce the misguided attacks that are currently being directed against the National Rifle Association, a pro-second amendment group which only promotes responsible gun ownership and had nothing to do with the tragic events in Florida.<\/p>\n

As with other second amendment-supporting groups, the NRA does not encourage people to perpetrate gun violence. They are being targeted by anti-second amendment lobbies as a convenient scapegoat to cover up for the failings and policies of GOVERNMENT and BIG PHARMA.<\/p>\n

Specifically;<\/p>\n

– we blame the FBI who failed to follow up on NUMEROUS complaints<\/a> filed against the alleged shooter, even after he had made specific threats against the school<\/p>\n

\"DWw3O5JWAAA0MDy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

– we blame Broward County’s misguided policies against the arrest of juveniles<\/a> as a contributing factor to the alleged shooters escalating behavior. These policies were called \u201cdiversionary programs\u201d and were essentially about stopping High School students from being arrested.<\/a> Law enforcement was instructed to avoid arrests and defer criminal conduct to school administrators.<\/p>\n

Students who engaged in violence, drug sales, robberies, burglaries, theft and other various crimes were intentionally kept out of the criminal justice system. County administrators and School Superintendents told local and county law enforcement officers to stop arresting students.<\/em><\/p>\n

– we blame FOUR security agents<\/a> for dereliction of duty, after it was learned that they failed to act appropriately even after learning a shooter was active inside the school<\/p>\n

– we blame the routine overuse of psychotropic drugs<\/a>, since it is said that the alleged shooter was depressed and sought help for his depression. Like many other shooters, it was likely that he’d been taking prescribed medication<\/p>\n

Further, we suggest boycotting the following companies who have chosen to sever ties with the NRA, making them complicit in the scapegoating. We will be adding more company names to the list as we learn of them.<\/p>\n

It would be of interest to see how many of these companies support groups who DO advocate murder, such as Planned Parenthood, or who support our current foreign policies and\/or tactics used to effect regime change in foreign countries, policies which have resulted in the continued murder of thousands of innocents and children!<\/p>\n

Also worthy of note is that the NRA does not receive taxpayer funding, while Planned Parenthood does.<\/p>\n
