This is not unusual because the good old boys in Bedford don&#8217;t tolerate someone who doesn&#8217;t go along with the &#8216;program&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>When will the Union Leader figure out who is the cause of all this?<\/p>\n<p><em>BEDFORD \u2014 Town Manager Steve Daly resigned Wednesday after 15 months on the job.<\/p>\n<p>Council Chairman Jim Scanlon would say only that Daly resigned for personal reasons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe town received and accepted Mr. Daly\u2019s resignation with regret and appreciation for his service to Bedford,\u201d a statement from the town council said. \u201cWe wish him continued success in his future endeavors.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Planning director Rick Sawyer will serve as interim town manager, effective Wednesday.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newhampshire.com\/article\/20150618\/NEWHAMPSHIRE1408\/150619053&#038;source=RSS\" target=\"_blank\">Bedford town manager resigns after 15 months<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If the residents know, what is wrong with the Union Leader?
