Creeping Transnationalism<\/em><\/p>\n

We had no idea that “international law” applied to any of our local law enforcement personnel in that they would have to be trained to be mindful of it while doing their normal police duties… after all, there is no “world government” under the UN… or is there?<\/p>\n

“A major with the Baltimore Police Department will be attending a United Nations \u201cPolice Commanders Course\u201d (UNPCC) in Sweden next week that is raising eyebrows among Americans \u2014 especially considering the UN\u2019s history and highly controversial agenda. The three-week course is aimed at teaching officers from around the world about \u201cpeacekeeping\u201d operations, interpretation of UN \u201cmandates,\u201d how to work effectively with international military forces, and more, according to the official program outline.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This tells us that complaints that our local law enforcement groups are being militarized are not unwarranted, especially since “in the United States, federal law specifically prohibits the use of the armed forces to enforce laws.” <\/em><\/p>\n

The article, which related information it was given after it contacted the BPD, goes on to state that “Also on the agenda is learning about \u201chuman rights\u201d as defined by the international organization. Under the UN concept, rights are granted (and therefore can be qualified or withdrawn) by government. This concept is diametrically opposed to American traditions of unalienable rights endowed by God and guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.”<\/em><\/p>\n

That said, given that the UN’s brand of transnationalism is so dangerous, why would anyone train, and therefore collude with the enemy?<\/p>\n
