This Thursday, November 8th, the Strafford Regional Planning Commission will meet.<\/a> \u00a0One of their agenda items is to discuss the Granite State Future program. \u00a0This is the discussion they chose to postpone at their last meeting that was attended by close to 50 of us. \u00a0At the last meeting, it was going to be brought up under the “Other Business” agenda item, until they saw how many of us were there to join the discussion.<\/p>\n

It would be beneficial if many of you can attend this Thursday as well, and voice your concerns about this program. <\/p>\n

The Granite State Future program is a FEDERAL program that is jointly managed by HUD\/EPA\/DOT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The proponents will tell you that this is an advisory only program. I have attached a “GSF Organizational Chart” – a NEW PDF document<\/a> that tells a different story — showing an Organizational Chart that was compiled using quotes taken directly from the GSF program’s documentation. \u00a0It shows Federal and State agencies have direct input into the planning process, along with pay-to-play special interest groups. \u00a0Notice the exclusion of virtually all elected officials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you do attend, please be courteous. \u00a0Each speaker will be given three minutes to speak. \u00a0After everyone has spoken, you are welcome to speak for another three minutes. \u00a0You can continue to speak in three minutes increments, taking turns with others until there is no more to say.<\/p>\n

The proponents of the GSF\/SCI program would also like for the state to assume control of all well water.<\/strong> \u00a0These links reveal the goals of the Water Sustainability Commission (Created under Gov. Lynch Executive Order) and the Legislative Groundwater Commission. \u00a0The Water Sustainability Commission’s Report to the Governor SHALL (must) be incorporated into final plans that are produced by the GSF program.

This next story relates to a Merrimack Councilman who had the NH DES site him for work after coming on his property without permission. \u00a0It cost him $5K to prove his innocence. \u00a0This is what we will all be subjected to after the GSF is completed and they begin to implement their plans.<\/p>\n
